On Friday, November 15, singer Stella Parton took to social media to share the heartfelt news of her brother’s passing.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the 75-year-old wrote, “My brother David passed away peacefully this morning. He received his angel wings and is now at rest, though saying goodbye to someone you love is never easy.”
She echoed these sentiments in a touching message on Facebook, adding, “It’s never easy to lose a loved one. David left us in the early hours of the morning, and though our hearts are heavy, we know he is at peace.”
Later, on Threads, Stella shared a final tribute: “My brother David left us this morning. After a while, he was granted angel wings. Rest in peace, amazing soul. I will always love you.”
An online obituary confirmed that David—identified as David W. Parton—passed away at his home in White Pine, Tennessee. The cause of death was not disclosed.
