Update: Why Is Teddy Sick? 💔
We know so many of you have been worried about Teddy, and we truly feel all the love being sent his way. Seeing him not feeling like his usual playful, happy self has been one of the hardest things for us. Teddy is more than just a dog—he is family, and when he isn’t well, the whole house feels quieter.
Over the past days, Teddy has been dealing with some health issues that made him uncomfortable and tired. He wasn’t eating much, he was more sleepy than usual, and his bright spark seemed to fade a little. Of course, we took him to the doctor right away because when something feels off with Teddy, we don’t take any chances.
The good news is that Teddy does not have cancer. That was one of our biggest fears, and hearing that it was ruled out brought us so much relief. The vet explained that Teddy is dealing with inflammation and pain that made him feel weak and uncomfortable, which is why he’s been resting so much. He’s now on medication, getting lots of fluids, and being closely monitored.
Right now, Teddy is taking things slow. He’s resting on the couch, wrapped up and cozy, getting all the love, gentle care, and cuddles he needs. He might look a little sad or sleepy, but please know that he is safe, he is loved, and he is being well taken care of. Sometimes healing just takes time.
Teddy can feel all the support being sent to him. Every kind word, every prayer, every message means more than you know. He may not be able to read them, but he can feel the warmth and love behind them—and so can we.
We promise to keep everyone updated as Teddy continues his recovery. For now, the most important thing is that he rests, stays comfortable, and keeps getting stronger day by day.
Thank you for loving Teddy the way we do. 🐶❤️
Everyone, Teddy Is Sick 💔😭🐶
Everyone, Teddy is sick—and saying those words out loud still feels unreal.
Teddy has always been the strong one. The happy one. The dog who greeted every day like it was a gift and every person like they were the most important thing in the world. He was the heartbeat of our home, the quiet comfort on hard days, the reason laughter came so easily. Seeing him like this—still, tired, and needing care—has shaken us in ways we weren’t prepared for.
It started subtly. A little less energy. Longer naps. A sparkle in his eyes that seemed dimmer than usual. At first, we told ourselves he was just resting, just having an off day. Teddy has always bounced back. He always does. But this time was different.
Then came the moment no pet parent ever wants to face—the moment when instinct tells you something isn’t right.
Now Teddy lies quietly, wrapped in warmth, surrounded by the things that make him feel safe. His favorite spot. His familiar smells. And most importantly, the people who love him more than words can explain. We sit beside him, watching every breath, every tiny movement, wishing we could take his discomfort and make it our own instead.
Dogs don’t complain. They don’t explain what hurts. They don’t ask “why.” They just trust. And that trust is what breaks our hearts the most. Teddy looks at us with the same gentle eyes he always has, as if to say, “I’m still here. I’m trying.”
Being sick hasn’t changed who Teddy is—it’s only revealed how deeply he is loved.
The house feels quieter now. His footsteps aren’t echoing through the rooms. His playful interruptions are on pause. But his presence is still everywhere—in the couch where he used to nap, in the toys scattered around, in the silence that feels too loud without him.
And yet, even in sickness, Teddy is teaching us something powerful.
He’s teaching us patience. He’s teaching us to slow down. He’s reminding us that love isn’t just shown in happy moments—it’s shown in staying close during the hardest ones. In late nights. In worried glances. In gentle hands that promise, “You’re not alone.”
We don’t know exactly what tomorrow holds. That uncertainty is heavy. But what we do know is this: Teddy is surrounded by love, strength, and a community that is rooting for him with everything they have.
Every prayer, every kind message, every shared tear matters. Teddy may not understand the words, but he feels the love. He feels the warmth. He feels that he is not fighting this alone.
Right now, Teddy isn’t running. He isn’t playing. He isn’t being the goofy little soul we’re used to. But he is being brave. And sometimes, that’s enough.
Please keep Teddy in your thoughts. Keep believing with us. Keep hoping with us. Because this sweet boy—this gentle heart—means more than we can ever explain.
Teddy is sick.
But Teddy is loved.
