After residents of the Urbi Villa neighborhood in Cajeme, Sonora, called 911 for what appeared to be a domestic dispute, several were surprised.
Leonora R. unleashed a violent, jealous rage when she left her husband with stab wounds on his limbs after attacking him with a kitchen knife. The motive was that she had found photos of her husband having sex with another woman on his cell phone. Without giving him time to explain himself, the woman stabbed him while insulting him.
Juan M.’s husband managed to disarm his angry wife after she had received several wounds and was able to calm her down enough to ask her what photos she was talking about, Leonora showed them to him on her cell phone.
Indeed, there were photos of Juan having sex with a much younger, thinner, and prettier woman, only it wasn’t another woman, it was her, just a few years and a few kilos lighter, and it was also the time when she used to dress up for her then-boyfriend.
Juan explained that he had found those photos saved in an email he sent her years ago, and that they were from when they were dating and she liked to wear makeup and look pretty, which is why she didn’t recognize herself.
Police officers arrived at the home and took Leonora away, who remains behind bars until responsibility can be determined. She is accused of domestic violence, which is now a serious charge.
